Joe Mercurio is a 3rd generation produce guy and has been selling wine grapes and juice for more than 35 years, offering quality products, excellent services and competitive pricing. What was once just a fall offering has grown into also offering spring wine juice and grapes from Chile. The selection in the fall now includes Italian juice and in the spring South African and Australian juice.

One of the family traditions that continued to grow was the wine grape and wine juice business. This became a passion for Joe and he started sourcing better quality, more varietals and forged long term friendships with growers in Northern California. This dedication has allowed Joe Jr. to buy directly and communicate with the growers throughout the year to keep tabs on the crops. Joe continues to sell fresh fruits and vegetables along with fresh wine grapes and juice during the fall and spring.

History of the cooperage

Cooperage located in Kentucky, founded in 1963  on the banks of the River Kelvin in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1991 they relocated to Kentucky to be closer to the supply of the finest American oak for their barrel production. Still operated by family members, these barrels go to distilleries and wineries all over the world. Using traditional cooperage techniques, their barrels are highly crafted and subtly flavored.

Used barrels typically have been reclaimed from bourbon or whiskey distilleries.
